Eileen Smith nee Lansdowne in ATS in WWII. She had been working in Mills and driving their delivery van. Eileen joined up in August 1941 and was away for 4 years as Predictor on Ack Ack anti aircraft guns, including time defending Hyde park, and in Belgium towards the end of the war, finishing service in September 1945.
