The building of what at the time were known as “Council Houses” by the Rural District Council in Victoria Road at Yarmouth, the houses built in this period are now recognised as a quality build at the time, being built to ‘Parker Morrison’ standards. The town lost many of its allotments at this time as the need for housing was recognised.
